Review: Toasted Oak

Went to the Toasted Oak restaurant attached to the Baronet Renaissance in Novi for lunch. Featuring a menu made entirely of local, Michigan ingredients and cheeses, an amazing (and cheap) wine list. I must say everything about this place, start to finish, impressed me thoroughly. As you walk in the door your first steps are in the market, where you can purchase Michigan artisan cheeses and excellent wines. There’s also a very well stocked bar in sight, I noticed as I waited at the host stand for a brief time. But, one of my favorite things was the style, the feel of the place. I’ve never been more comfortable at a restaurant in the area. The food was amazing, (house vinaigrette was delicious!) and I would highly recommend stopping in for a wine and cheese tasting on Saturdays. Amazing food, and excellent service. Check it out!

We started off doing tapas paired wine tastings, and the occasional private dinner or event, and have enjoyed working all over metro detroit putting on pop up restaurants or brunches.
