Wine Tasting: Andiamo Livonia

Tonight, I attended Andiamo Livonia’s Strolling Wine Event, “It’s A Blend”. I must say that I was more thoroughly impressed with this wine tasting, than any that had been hosted at this location for quite some time. The wines were all incredible, and the food was well matched, and delicious. Chef Chris Bader prepared an excellent array of food. My favorites were the crab rangoon filled prosciutto cups with a sweet hoison sauce drizzle and the lamb ravioli, tossed in an oregano and roasted garlic butter with a Mediterranean garnish. The wine selection was delicious, featuring two elegant whites and six delicious reds of varying intensities. Then crowd was as diversed as any, and I had the pleasure of meeting several wonderful people. Andiamo’s next wine tasting, a tapas menu, will be on Wednesday March 21st. Seats will fill up fast, so make reservations soon!

About the Renegade Chef

We started this company a few years back because we love food. More importantly we love great food. Myself, i love weird food. We started off doing tapas paired wine tastings, and the occasional private dinner or event, and have enjoyed working all over metro detroit putting on pop up restaurants or brunches. We aim to build a network of like minded and passioned people. We hope you'll enjoy following our journey, and seeing what cranks out of the renegade kitchen.
