Edit: Private Wine Tasting “Italy”

Now that we are doing a coursed wine tasting, as opposed to buffet style, I decided I must alter the menu a little. I didn’t believe anything on my menu would stand up to the Barolo, So the new menu is as follows…

“Eggplant Caponata Bruschetta”

“Spring Lentil Salad”

“Sweet Potato Puree”

“Braised Beef Stew alongside a Cauliflower Manchego Mash”

“Tiramisu Ice Cream”

I feel much better about those few changes, I hope you all agree…

  1. This menu sounds perfect. Really like the lentil addition, especially as a salad. And I’m thinking the barolo is going to love your beef and manchego 🙂 You’re killing it. Love it 🙂

  2. Love lentil salad–wonder if mine is anything like yours. Tomorrow I have company coming and am going to make a vegetarian chorizo dish. Guess I need to keep track of exactly what I put in it and take a photo so I can put it on my blog.
